Grade 100
Gunnebo Johnson Grade 100 Chain is high-strength alloy steel lifting chain designed for demanding rigging and material-handling applications. Fully hardened and tempered, Grade 100 chain provides a higher working load limit than traditional Grade 80 chain while maintaining a durable, reliable construction. Gunnebo Johnson Grade 100 chain is proof tested and certified. Available in a range of sizes, it is an excellent choice for heavy-duty chain slings and overhead lifting applications.

Grade 70
Grade 70 Transport Chain is a high-strength, heat-treated carbon steel chain designed for demanding load securement and tie-down applications. Commonly used for trailer tie-downs, towing, logging, construction, and other cargo-control applications, it provides an excellent combination of strength and durability. Grade 70 chain is available in a variety of sizes and is typically finished with a yellow zinc or chromate coating for corrosion resistance and easy identification. Grade 70 transport chain is intended for load securement and is not approved for overhead lifting applications.

Chain Assemblies
Grade 100 Gunnebo Johnson and Crosby Chain Assemblies are heavy-duty lifting assemblies manufactured with high-strength Grade 100 alloy chain and quality-tested components for demanding overhead lifting applications. Assemblies can be configured with a variety of hooks, master links, couplers, and other fittings to meet specific lifting requirements and Working Load Limits. Gunnebo and Crosby slings are proof tested and tagged in our shop for durability, traceability, and reliable performance in industrial lifting applications. Each assembly is supplied according to its rated Working Load Limit and intended configuration for safe, dependable lifting.

Assembly Types

Single Leg
Single-leg chain slings provide a simple, versatile lifting solution for a wide range of material-handling applications.

Double Leg
Double-leg chain slings provide greater load capacity and stability than single-leg configurations, making them ideal for lifting and positioning larger or more balanced loads.

Triple Leg
Triple-leg chain slings offer increased lifting capacity and improved load distribution for heavier or more complex loads.

Quadruple Leg
Quadruple-leg chain slings provide maximum load distribution and stability for heavy-duty lifting applications. With four lifting legs and a variety of available fittings, they can be configured to safely handle large and difficult-to-lift loads.
Hook Types

Sling Hook
Sling hooks are a standard hook designed for secure attachment to lifting loads and are commonly used on chain slings and other rigging assemblies.

Grab Hook
Grab hooks are designed to shorten or secure chain at a desired length, making them useful for adjustable chain sling and load-control applications.

Foundry Hook
Foundry hooks are heavy-duty lifting hooks designed for handling heavy and irregularly shaped loads in foundry and manufacturing environments.

Self-Locking Hook
Self-locking hooks incorporate an automatic locking mechanism designed to help keep the load securely engaged during lifting.
